The Soulkeepers (Book One)
By G.P. Ching
I know, I know…you’re saying, “Really Bernice, a 5 out of 5 rating?” and all I can say is that I have my opinion and you have
yours… and I have read a lot of really good books that I didn’t rate quite that high… so let me tell you why I liked this book.
First, it was understandable, even when the character was confused I still understood… I felt that through out the book… I understood, the author laid out the path just enough to allow me to understand where it was going without letting me in on the big secrets.
Second, I really liked the characters. Even the ones that weren’t that likable.
Thirdly, This is fiction right? So, it’s not going to be true, and I just love when it fiction makes me think … I’m not sure if that’s really what I mean to say… Let me say that the author supports the fiction in such as way as to make even the most fantastic believable.. sort of.
It’s really hard to tell you why I like this book and NOT tell you anything about this book. I like to read a book not knowing anything more than the title and the author. If you want to read a book review that is going to tell you about the characters, then you should probably look elsewhere.
I will just say, I liked it. I liked it alot.
