The One You Love (Suspense Mystery)
by Paul Pilkington
This book… let me think about this book. This book earned a full point for the ending.
That’s right, the last sentence of this book elevated my rating by a full point. So, having said that would I, in retrospect consider the book average. … ehhhhhh… no not really.
This book has a lot to offer. There are a lot of twists and turns and a ton of people.. I found myself fairly frustrated throughout reading the novel…. GUESS WHAT… it was the suspense. I know right? What was I thinking? It’s a Suspense Mystery, it says it right there in parenthesis in my archive list on my Kindle.
Normally I’m not a fan of Suspense… you see… I drink a lot of coffee and it doesn’t take much to get my heart rate racing and before long I’m talking out loud….saying things like, “don’t go in that room” or “it’s him… don’t you realize it’s him! Don’t get in the car!” …
As you know I have a no spoiler rule, so you aren’t going to get anything from me about characters and plot or settings. I refuse to tell you the parts that drove me crazy… but I will say if you like suspense mysteries you are going to like this one.
