The Lair of the White Worm
by Bram Stoker
Alas, it is quite time the horrors of this book be put aside and I read something that which entertains my thoughts and has value to my heart.
I LOVED DRACULA. Start to finish, I enjoyed every moment I read that book… this book. I really didn’t understand. There were mysterious deaths and ailments and spiritual wars and …a … mongoose.
I saw the potential for so much more entertainment then what I was getting and the book simply didn’t deliver… dare I check the wiki-pedias on this book? I mean… it seemed like it was all cut up and confused… one minute going in one direction and the other … another. AND well, it didn’t help that I was reading something that was written 100 years ago… but still…
I’m disappointed in this book and after I write this review I am going to “wiki” it and see if there is something I was missing by just reading it… you know, some greater message of the times or something… because honestly, after Dracula I had really come to expect so much more!
