Sweet Farts – Blown Away
By Raymond Bean
Rating a children’s book is different than rating an adult book. In an adult book I’m looking for pure entertainment and engulfing stories and in a children’s book I’m looking for pure entertainment and fun and appropriate language and appropriate situations … and more FUN!
Sweet Farts (ok, I hate typing that… but my kids giggled every time they walked by watching me read the book) was fun, fast and had situations that entertained my children’s imaginations… Two of my kids read the book and they both liked it.
“Only 2 of your children?” you ask.
“But Bernice,” you say “I thought you have three children”
Yes, you caught me. My 7-year-old is a very reluctant reader… and after reading this book I’ve decided that I will hold off … UNTIL SHE HAD READ THE FIRST TWO!
That’s right. I’m going to get her the first two books (which I’m sure will entertain and delight) and then she can read this one.
The whole story and concept is sure to engage her and I don’t want her to jump ahead. How should I put this… She has outgrown Captain Underpants and is old enough for Sweet Farts.
OH, I didn’t have this on Kindle… I read the paperback.
