Hurricanes in Paradise
by Denise Hildreth
I really enjoyed this book. It was like chicken soup for the soul on steroids… a sweet mash-up of riddles, stress, humor, and what really clenched this book for me were the completely unexpected, unannounced pivots in direction.
Really, it was a pleasant story with many highs and lows and the characters were likable and believable… what got me, what really got me … I guess it was the human-ness of the situations in that they were very ordinary but still interesting.
I’m not going to give anything away except to say the ending… well not the very very very end, but the right before the end… is completely and utterly unexpected.
