I enjoyed this book. I liked the characters, they were funny and quirky and human. I scored the book a 3 because I guessed WAY before the end, the crucial twist that leads to the Ah Ha moment.
Even though the twist wasn’t hidden, it wasn’t blatantly spelled out too early, so there are those readers who may not get it. I’m not saying I’m a genius, I’m saying.. .this book is good. I enjoyed it. I liked the characters, I enjoyed their conversations and the main characters inner conversations, I would have scored it higher if I hadn’t guessed the ending.
So, as you know is my habit, I am not going to give you any details about the actual story. I think a reader should go into a book… blank. With no other preconceived expectations other then what the title and the authors name have to give.
I will say, while this was an easy to read book with a well planned story that wraps up nicely at the end, there were one or two occasions that I thought, “really?, let’s see how this works out”. The writer did a great job of bringing it all together and making it complete. .
