Rating: ★ ★★★★

I liked this book. I liked it for several reason, FIRST it is completely age appropriate, no matter your age. Seriously, doesn’t matter how old or how young, there is nothing here that you won’t understand or that isn’t appropriate. You will like the characters you are supposed to like… and despise those… well, that you’re meant to despise.

I liked this book for kids as well as adults, while the kids may find it a bit more fascinating, it is also a magical and quick romp for adults… and while I am that parent that read their kids books (you know just to make sure) I like when they surprise me in the end… and don’t bore me to death!

This is rated for Grades 5 – 8 which seems about right, (ages 9-14)

My daughter picked this up at a scholastic book fair and I’m glad she did. There are some empowering and healthy messages carried within these pages…. Which you will have to read in order to hear! 🙂
